Sal Del Castillo, Special Education Teacher. BA in Sociology, minor Psychology, California State University Los Angeles. Sal Del Castillo began his career with LAUSD in 1973 as a Teachers Assistant. His career experiences as a teacher include teaching a diverse population of Special Needs Students ranging in ages from Kinder to High School. He serves on Board of Directors of Arts & Education Nation, a local nonprofit promoting both the arts and education which in turn supports the local communities.
Owner of small business Handmade by Ale Wood, Ale is a local educator in Los Angeles, CA. Ale has been working as an educator for 7 years and counting, while constantly being involved in nonprofit organizations all over Los Angeles. She is currently teaching TK- 8th Grade while pursuing her Education Specialist Credential for Mild, Moderate, and Extensive Support Special Needs. Owner of a home she and her husband have dubbed the Woodberry Zoo, she has 17 beautiful pets and counting.

Early Childhood Education, University of San Francisco BA, Sociology, minor Psychology, California State University Los Angeles CEIM Founding member of Infant Massage USA Greater Los Angeles Charter (GLAAC) IMUSA Chapter Representative Dr. Del Castillo-Garcia began her career in the field of Child Development in 1962. Her career experiences include teaching in both the private and public sector, as a Preschool Teacher and Parent Educator; Implemented an Early Childhood Regional Occupational Program (ROP) at the secondary school level; Community College adjunct Professor; Child Development Administrator including serving as a consultant for the California State Department of Education, Child Development Division. She currently serves on Board of Directors of Infant Massage USA Chapter of the international Association of Infant Massage, promoting infant mental health, as well as on the Board of Directors of Southern California Association for the Education of Young Children, Chapter of the National Association for the Education of Young Children.
Her doctoral dissertation examined the confidence levels of mothers as a result of learning and performing infant massage techniques with their infants.
What a team!
Katherine left us in 2013. A huge hole in our hearts from this loss, but she insisted we carry on. She would never have "no" for an answer.
